Comedy Music Cellar

There’s not really a lot written about funny comedy music, and that’s a shame.  It doesn’t always get the credit it deserves, and I think that’s a shame.  There are some truly brilliant funny guys and gals who can sing out there, and often their considered lightweights by the music industry.  I don’t think there’s even an Grammy award for best comedy song of the year.  Really, there should be.  It’s kind of the same rap that comedians get in the acting business.  People think it’s easier to do, because it’s silly.  In reality, if you talk to any actor worth their weight, and they’ll tell you just how hard it is to be funny.  Harder in many ways then being a serious dramatic actor.

So, in this blog, I tend to point out some of the funniest musical artists of our generation and previous ones along with all their songs.  Maybe you’ll find a new favorite artist out of the crowd to listen to.  Happy reading, and I look forward to reading your comments as well.
